Barventa Farms was started in 2006 when the first blueberry plants were planted. The last two years, we have watched the plants bloom and naturally grown so you can be assured of having the sweetest blueberries in town!
Starting in April of 2008, the plants started to produce blueberries by the bushel. So much so that the Pick your own was opened earlier than planned so we wouldn't let the fruit go to waste.
Then, in late 2008, the decision to open the Fresh produce stand was made and as soon as construction was completed, the stand opened to the public.
